So, what can happen at a funeral? Even, if it's the funeral of Daddy Cool Douglas Lazarus? It's in Goa, tears, sad speeches, melancholia... right? Wrong! When... The coffin makers deliver the wrong body. But later discovers that the dead body, inside the coffin, is not of his father’s. The son delivers a speech on funeral in which he mentions about rivers of Goa and further says, “He did not have money to support himself or his dogs.” Stevan is not all set to take the responsibility of his mother after father’s death.. Good Son Steven Lazarus (Suniel Shetty), an aspiring writer tries to give his father a decent funeral by delivering a eulogy.. that includes a description of the rivers of Goa. AGYAAT is a thriller and revolves around the realm of fear.

A film unit goes for a ahoot deep into a forest of SRI LANKA. Each character in this film exhibits their own quirkiness, their arrogance and their mixed feelings for each other.
The shoot is put on hold when a camera malfunctions and they have to wait for a replacement. To kill time, they decide to go on a trek into the jungle with the caretaker of the jungle. They settle at a place with bare minimal facilities run by a strange and quirky man calledSETU. The leading lady Aasha (Nisha Kothari) bears with him because of his star status. Laxman is a completely subservient spot boy but with a hidden monstrous ego. When the caretaker is found mauled one night, the panic and fear of the darkness and the unknown sets in. The movie take a 360 degree turn as each of the crew begins fighting an unseen force. This unseen is faster, smarter and is out to kill them. their beliefs and the film is poised to judge whether mankind's survival instinct can prevail over darkness of a world they cannot imagine.

It all begins when the camera malfunctions. They have to wait for two days for the replacements to arrive, with no form of entertainment or communication. So when Setu suggests a camping trip into the forest, they jump at the opportunity. As Setu drives them through the jungle around undergrowth in a relic Jonga, they begin to wonder how Setu can remember the way back as the jungle looks the same all around. As they settle near a pond for the night and sit around a bonfire Setu hears a strange sound. He goes to investigate and never returns. After a desperate search they discover his dead body. Panic sets in among the unit members and they jump into the Jonga but they are unfamiliar with the terrain and their hastiness result in an accident. The axle breaks.
Now completely lost and trapped in the jungle as Setu, the only guy who knows the way out is dead, they don’t know which way to go to get out of the forest. Yet another unit member gets brutally killed, making them realize that whatever it is that has killed Setu is out to get them all. From then on it is a desperate struggle to survive against that unknown entity. And as their numbers dwindle, their suppressed passions come forth as they realize that it is not only their lives they are fighting for, but also for their love. Can their survival instinct help them prevail over the darkness?AGYAAT is a PAISA WASOOL movie.
